Preliminary Design
Primary responsibilities for this position include working with solar consultants on concept reviews and initial drafts, as well as overseeing the entire preliminary design process from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
– Verify project details for solar design and review designs sent from solar consultants
– Draft solar construction plans using specialized programs
– Submit designs for in-home and virtual consultations
– Work closely with lead designer, drafting team and project planning staff

Who You Are
We’re looking for a detail oriented person with good written and verbal skills, and a knowledge of electrical concepts. You should be able to multi-task, and must be proficient with computers. A minimum of one year experience with AutoCAD, and one to two years of experience with electrical, solar design, or solar installation are preferred but not required. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
